Workshop Facilitator Gwendolyn Alley has taught writing at the college level for over 20 years. Since 2008, she has helped 200 students develop their own free WordPress blogs and attended blogging conferences in San Francisco, Santa Rosa, LA, and Lisbon.

Through her wine blogging, she has won trips to the European Wine Bloggers Conference in Lisbon and the No American Wine Bloggers Conference in Washington as well as trips to tour the Alentejo region of Portugal as a guest of Enoforum Wines and to tour Washington wine country.

No stranger to the arts, Gwendolyn was a resident artist at Art City Studios from 1994-1997 where she participated in many art shows, published three dozen broadsides in ARTLIFE Limited Editions Magazine from 1996-2003, served as a Literary Fellow for the City of Ventura in 2005, and has written many successful grants for art shows and community events.

Gwendolyn teaches writing at Ventura College, lives in Midtown with her son and husband, and publishes on several blogs.
